What can you say about your Investees? What are their characteristics? 
The organizations that SVPGT funds are in need of and committed to an infusion of SVPGT volunteer support to build and strengthen their organizations' capacity to deliver programs. They also are seeking to replicate or expand an existing program or to launch a new program. The organizations are committed to program evaluation and measuring outcomes. In addition, they have a vision for their organizations' growth over the next three to five years, and how SVPGT can help them accomplish this growth. 

What kind of people do you look for in the Investees you fund? 
SVPGT's Investees are led by innovative, passionate leaders with vision and ideas about effecting change and solving problems in the community, and creating more social value from their limited resources. They often use traditional business skills to achieve their goals and make creative use of limited resources to pursue their social mission. They are open to working with high level volunteers, and embrace collaboration.

What are SVPGT's funding priorities? 
The investment area for 2008 will be literacy. Applicants must qualify as tax-exempt under Section 501 (c)(3) or 170 (c) of the Internal Revenue Service code. 


How large are the grants given by SVPGT? 
SVP makes initial single year grants of $25,000 with the intent of renewing at the same level for up to three years.
